Why are there signs everywhere saying ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’ in English and Japanese?


Might be something connected to this:


but why would they let a cult go around putting up signs everywhere??

    This is a really old question, but no one has answered it!

    The signs come from the Peace Pole Project, the brain child of Japanese poet and philosopher Masahisa Goi (1916-1980).

    Well, that’s interesting! There’s one in my city, less than a mile from where I’m sitting.
